On GATES OF HELL, Bill Gates belts out a tune about how happy he is being in Hell. On DR.SCIENCE, the lab-coat loony tells an ignorant viewer that the Science Method is not a form of birth control like the Rhythm Method. On JibJab.com's FASHIONISTA!, Verena disregards her mother's recent gall bladder surgery and tells her her suburban trivialities are nothing compared to the hard problems of the fashion industry. DUKE 2000 also airs on Entertaindom.com.

[2000-09-01] SISTER RANDY discusses how sideshow dwarf Tom Thumb's wife was often mistaken as the performer's mother and called Ma Donna. VIRTUAL BILL tries out a new name in an audition for a local weatherman gig. On DILBERT, we find out why upper management shouldn't be the one making the decisions. On a simply hilarious Webisode of BIRTHDAY PARTY, Mr. Binkles (who has been mistakenly called Mr. Tinkles in the past - sorry) has yet another partner, who really brings life to the name Mrs. Kinkles. This week's DUKE 2000 report has Uncle Duke talking about education like Mr. Rodgers. DUKE 2000 also airs on Entertaindom.

[2000-08-18] On VIRTUAL BILL, our president Romeo takes a crack at MacBeth. On DILBERT, Dogbert ponders what makes a richer life - work or sitting on your butt? On this week's BIRTHDAY PARTY, Mr. Binkles adds yet another new partner to the Smile Time Puppet Show, but it seems Mr. Slinkles isn't quite all right in the head - uh huh!

DUKE 2000 has moved over to Entertaindom along with all the other DotComix toons.

[2000-08-04] On THIS MODERN WORLD, creator Tom Tomorrow shows us how much more peaceful society would be if we were all armed. On VIRTUAL BILL, the prez tries to find the motivation behind his part in a soap commercial. SISTER RANDY discusses the corporate productions of some of the world's most famous painters, like the cereal box cover for Vincent Van Goios. CRANKY reviews the CIDER HOUSE RULES and thinks it should be renamed the Cider House Sucks. SHADOW CULTURE'S MR. CRANKY also airs on Entertaindom.

[2001-01-12] DotComix's BIRTHDAY PARTY is one of my favorite Webtoons. The Webisode entitled "Smelly Kid" is one of the best. Mr. Binkles and Mr. Tinkles take a job working the smelly kid's birthday party. We slowly find out why Binkles has a special feeling for odoriferous children. It's that simple well-timed unveiling of information that makes the installment so good. Each line gets closer to the truth and adds to the humor. This toon is for all whom want to see great voice work, direction and writing all wrapped into one show.

[2000-12-01] With the presidential fiasco still going on in the U.S., we can sit back and bask in the humor of DUKE 2000. If we knew what was going to happen before the election, maybe the former ambassador from the Doonesbury comic strip would have been the best choice for president. His campaign address on 11/2/00 entitled, "Drivetime Duke" was the best installment of the series. Duke actually gets interviewed on WGN-Chicago's morning news show, reporting from the highway where his 14-year-old son has wrecked their tour truck. The interaction between the animated Duke and the live-action reporters is great. The whole toon really works as a satire of the presidential candidates. Plus, it's just darn funny. If you're fed up with politics, check it out on Entertaindom or Dotcomix!

[2000-10-20] In doing the Web Animation Guide, I've seen a lot of Webtoons, however, BIRTHDAY PARTY's "Puppeteers' Hand Job" is by far my favorite Webisode of any series. When I introduce my friends to Internet animation this is the toon I show them. The writing is brilliant and the timing is dead on. This Webisode is so witty, smart and edgy that it amazes me every time I watch it. This toon is everything that the Internet could and should be. Congrats Dotcomix!
